Founded in 1982, Computers In Personnel Ltd has supplied HR software and services to the UK market for over 25 years. Computers In Personnel systems currently serve over 650 organisations from a broad variety of sectors, with over 1,000,000 employee records being managed on a daily basis. Amongst other high-profile Clients, Computers In Personnel currently holds the Royal Warrant for provision of HR Software Systems to Her Majesty the Queen.
HR Software & Services
Computers In Personnel’s core product range, Ciphr (launched in 2001), covers the management of personnel, recruitment, training administration, payroll, hr intranet self-service, absence management, data analysis and HR business intelligence. The Ciphr product range is available as a standard on-premise installation or as a fully hosted solution, and Computers In Personnel offer Clients the option to outsource some or all of their HR tasks, in order to reduce the burden on their HR & IT teams.
Ciphr is developed on a SQL Server platform and superceded the Compel for Windows product range, which was based on Equinox database technology and originally introduced to the market in 1994. The SQL Server platform allows Ciphr to easily integrate with 3rd Party applications (allowing for a much greater scope of functionality) and provides more robust application security.

Delivery, Implementation & Support
Once an order is placed with Computers In Personnel, the Client is assigned a designated representative who will manage and co-ordinate the project throughout. All projects are assigned a Project Manager who, as your main point of contact, works alongside you to ensure the successful implementation of your project on time and to budget. The Project Manager plans, schedules and manages the appropriate mix of Delivery resources and, together with one of our highly experienced HR System Consultants, they will gain an understanding of your organisation and your department, enabling us to offer long-term support as your system needs evolve.
