 Details
All astronomic calculations are made according to the methods set forth
in the book
Astronomical Algorithms (Jean Meeus, 2000, 2nd edition, ISBN
0-943396-61-1). Accuracy of these calculations is sufficient for the
demonstration of correlation of astronomic events and calendars.
Comparison of time of 20 solar eclipses within the interval of 1992 to
2000 C.E. taken from
NASA Catalogue with data given by the program, showed that deviations
were from –1 to +1 minute. For more distant past and future years the error
increases. Within the interval from 2992 to 3000 C.E. maximum deviations
were from –9 to –7 minutes and within the 1992—2000 B.C.E. interval from –84
to –71 minutes.
